Poker player Jason Mercier sporting a full beard and a sports het. The year is 2017.There is plenty going on in Jason Mercier's life right now, though he put all of the personal news developments (baby on the way, etc) aside over the past couple of days to take down the $25,000 High Roller Event at the SHRPO (Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown) for $794,600.

Despite just having turned 30 years of age, Jason Mercier (who is a member of Team Pokerstars Pro) has already amassed one of the most impressive resumes in poker history.

With his win earlier today, Mercier now has over $18.2 million in total lifetime "live" tournament earnings, plus an additional $2 million+ in online tournament cashes. Mercier's cashes put him at #12 on the all-time money list, a few notches behind the likes of John Juanda and Brian Rast.

In addition to all of his cashes, Mercier owns five World Series of Poker bracelets and an EPT title.

With the World Series of Poker quickly approaching, Mercier seems to be rounding into form.
