James Vogl Takes Down $2,000 No Limit Hold'em Event

After the Casino employees tournament on the 22nd, the World Series of Poker truly got underway on Friday with the $2000 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event. There was a staggering 834 entries adding up to a total prize pool of just over $1.5 million dollars.

James Vogl from London, England was the first place finisher in this event, collecting $400,000 even. Brian Haveson and Erick Lindgren, two names familiar with our readers, placed 9th and 10th respectively. Here are the top 10 finishers:
