Josh Arieh: Bad Boy or Just Misunderstood?

When Josh Arieh finished 3rd at the 2004 World Series of Poker, there were a lot of people who said he was just a flash in the pan; someone who got lucky enough to make it to the final table and bank a couple million dollars. People who say this, just don't understand how good and talented Josh Arieh really is, and he proved it by winning a bracelet at the 2005 World Series of Poker.

Josh won the $2000 Pot Limit Omaha with rebuys event recently. Not only did he just win, but he basically ran over the final table. He also had enough composure to recover when Chris "Jesus" Ferguson briefly took the chip lead when they were in a heads-up battle. Josh took back the chip lead, and won the event.

Josh comes across as being cocky and brash, and this image was certainly cemented in the 2004 World Series of Poker, where he came across as a jerk to everyone watching; but in reality, Josh is just a very confident, and very good poker player. Don't be surprised to see Josh at another final table or two in this year's event.
