Party Poker Million IV details.
Published on October 15th, 2004, 1:39 pm ESTQualifying to Party Poker's very successful PartyPoker.com Million IV tournament is underway, and the King has all of the details to get you started.
The total prize pool last year was just under 4 million dollars total, and Erick Lindgren captured the title and one million dollars. The tournament takes place entirely on a cruise ship, which adds another unique element to this tournament. The tournament will take place in March 2005, with the winner receiving 1.2 million dollars.

There are SNG (Sit N Go) tournaments running constantly that allow you to qualify for the semi-finals. The buyin is $32 total ($29 to buyin plus a $3 fee). The winner of this 10 person SNG qualifies for the semi-finals, while the 2nd and 3rd place finishers receive another buyin for the $29+$3 qualifying SNG.
You can buy directly into the semi-finals for $210 + $16. One cruise package is awarded for every 60 qualifiers in the semifinals. There are 4 semifinals each month, with the semifinals running for 6 months.
