The event has an absolutely huge field on a weekly basis (20,000 entrants usually), creating a massive prizepool even though there is a small buyin ($10 + $1).

This week there was a special entrant to the event, and that was Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad, arguably one of the best online poker tournament players alive. Annette has amassed millions of dollars in online and live poker wins, including a recent victory in the World Series of Poker Europe main event.

Even though the Sunday Hundred Grand victory wasn't anywhere close to the WSOPE victory in terms of cash and prestige, her victory in the Sunday Hundred Grand was no doubt impressive.

No matter how good you are, it is almost impossible to navigate a field of 20,000 entrants and go on to a victory; especially in a tournament with a turbo format. For Annette_15 to win required a combination of luck, strong play and strong reads. Obrestad benefited from all three and eventually went on to the victory, taking down the first place prize of $20,000.

This was an impressive victory - however, I would bet a good deal of money that Annette wouldn't be able to win it again if she played it another hundred times. Winning ones of those tournaments requires a large amount of luck and the right cards at the right time, no matter how good you are.

Just another impressive feat from Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad.
