2005 World Series of Poker Just Around The Corner

This year is going to be a massive year for the World Series of Poker. Harrah's bought the rights to the World Series of Poker, so expect a lot of advertising and promotion leading up to the event. Also expect the biggest field ever; over 6000 people are expected to play. The best players from all over the world will be taking part in poker's biggest event.
The size of the field means that the prize pool will be very large. It is expected that the winner will bank 10 million dollars, and everyone at the final table will probably leave a millionaire. Anyone who is anyone in the poker world will be playing: Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Michael Mizrachi, Daniel Negreanu; everyone. Not only that, but expect a large number of celebrities to play. Expected participants are James Woods, Jennifer Tilly, and possibly Ben Affleck and Tobey Maguire.
The World Series of Poker is a month long event this year, with many preliminary events taking place before the $10,000 final event. Any type of game that you want to play, from Omaha to Stud to Hold'em, you can find a tournament event this year.
Also, expect massive coverage from ESPN this year like in other years, as poker is still booming right now.
This should be a very fun event this year.
